UHURU BUSINESS FORUM

The Uhuru Business Forum is a special platform that brings together policymakers, economists, business leaders, entrepreneurs, youth innovators, and development partners to discuss the future of Tanzania’s economy over the next 50 years. The forum aims to inspire meaningful dialogue on improving the business environment, strengthening entrepreneurship, and unlocking investment opportunities that can accelerate national economic growth.
The forum will take place on 27 March 2026 at the PSSSF Conference Hall, near the National Museum, starting from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will be followed by a Dinner Gala.
The event will begin with the Launch of the Tanzania Economic Freedom Report, where key findings will be presented, highlighting the state of economic freedom in the country, existing challenges, and areas with the greatest potential for reform.
Following the launch, participants will engage in a Panel Discussion themed “Driving Tanzania’s Economic Future: Policy Pathways, Entrepreneurship, and Investment Opportunities for the Next 50 Years.” This high-level conversation will focus on:
• The future direction of Tanzania’s economic policies
• Emerging and expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs
• The investment climate and strategies for attracting long-term investments
• The role of the private sector in building a competitive and sustainable economy
The Uhuru Business Forum seeks to spark innovative ideas, foster collaboration, and promote actionable strategies that will drive business growth and national development for generations to come
