The Liberty Sparks Student Conference is a pivotal event uniting university students from Tanzania and beyond to explore critical topics in trade, entrepreneurship, and economics. Over seven years, we’ve organized seminars and gatherings aimed at raising awareness and elevating individuals and society. At the heart of our efforts is the Student Conference, now in its 7th iteration, promising an enriching experience.
Scheduled between July, this year’s conference will feature the unveiling of “Introduction to Inequality” by Dr. Eamonn Butler, Director of the Adam Smith Institute. Alongside, attendees can expect compelling documentaries on topics like land and business registration for women in Tanzania. Engaging presentations and panel discussions led by esteemed speakers will offer insights into trade, economics, business, and entrepreneurship.
The conference fosters diversity and inclusivity by bringing together students from diverse backgrounds and universities, creating a dynamic environment for learning and networking. Participants are encouraged to critically examine societal issues and explore solutions with real-world impact.
