2021 Essay Competition
You might agree with me that building strong leader also takes one inner desire of going further, educating himself and push what desire to limit. Last year through the essay competition trained and supported 20 young professionals from East and Southern Africa to become the champions of Liberty. It is within our agenda to see more leaders are getting to the level of standing themselves, defending and adopting Liberty as a life philosophy.
We encourage all young professional from the Age of 18-30 to take part in the 2021 essay competition. The top 10 winners who will be selected through a various stages will attend the virtual young professional Colloquium with Prof Brian, Prof Ken Schoolland and Adam. The top winning essay will be published on our media, other website, blogs and also published in the local newsletter of the top country include Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. We also have special packages for the top 20 winners, include special training and mentorship.
The top five winners will be awarded and the first winner to go home with $200 and the rest four $100 each.
Top Judges
Our format of judging and marking essay from all candidates in the region is through an internal and external team of judges. The internal judging will be done by the special local team of two individuals from different backgrounds and mainly business in Tanzania. The Internal Judges will review and mark all your papers and selecting the top 20 candidates for the next stage. The top 20 paper will be sent to external who both live out of Africa for final marking and selection of top 5, all 20 candidates will participate in Young Scholar Colloquium. Important NoteThe awarding and the announcement will be live through our platform. The Link to attend will be shared here. All participants in the competition will be notified and attend the awarding ceremony. Our Top judges will share with us the criteria used during selection, and what important aspect they consider in selecting the top five winners.Our top Judges are expertise in this field, and they will spend time with us in explaining the professional overview of the trade barriers and how limiting growth.
Guideline
Express what comes into your mind when you think of trade barriers t and connection to poverty.Your arguments should base on fact and remember to provide references.Examples should mostly be based on your country.An Essay should not be less than 500 but not more than 3000 words
Eligibility?
The competition is open to young professionals residing in Tanzania, Angola, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Madagascar and Congo between the ages of 18-30.
Deadline?
The deadline for the submission is July 21th 2020. Only Top 20 candidates will be contacted
The Top five winner announcement and award will be in November 2021
